In Q1 2023, the top 5 medical apps in Africa showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the weekly metrics of these leading applications.

Dictionary Diseases&Disorders experienced a steady growth in downloads, starting the quarter with around 9.6K and peaking at approximately 14.2K in mid-March. Weekly revenue for the app showed sporadic increases, with notable peaks of $3 in February and late March. Active users also saw a positive trend, increasing from nearly 12.7K at the start of the quarter to over 22K by the end of March.

Altibbi saw impressive download numbers, beginning at 7.3K and hitting a high of 14.1K in late February. The number of active users mirrored this trend, growing from 18.4K at the start of January to 31.7K by late February, before settling at about 25.4K by the end of the quarter.
